Canopy Retreat

Canopy Retreat is held in the air. A cantilevered concrete volume pushes out past its own footing, so the room floats inside the jungle canopy rather than beneath it.

The bath is fully open to the leaves. You shower in the rain when it rains — the only enclosure here is the architecture's own mass and the trees around it.
